In this article, the author, based on archeological, written and ethnographic sources, provides information about female goddesses who played an important role in the spiritual life of the peoples of Central Asia in the XIX - XX centuries. In the mid-nineteenth century, Umayyad tried to justify the use of the pre-Islamic Umayyad image of two women: a positive mother and a evil one.
